Report
Well, on Saturday we had a couple really close games against the Farmers from Lüneburg and the Hallunken from Halle, both of which we lost by one point. 2 wins and 2 losses on the first day. To lighten the atmophere, the Farmers challenged us to a game of guts. We released some of our aggressions and won 10:8. Carsten, Frank, and I also made a fantastic showing at the beer race, where the Farmers avenged their Guts loss to beat us by a head. The Egg-Rolls were tastey at the Thai Restaurant and the party was nice. After a long sleep, we were not quite ready for Leipzig, but Leipzig was quite ready for us. The result was a devastating 2:12 loss. We were then set to play against the Nihilistenor 5th place. It was a back and forth game the whole way, even if both teams didn't really play up to their potential. After time ran out, TWP tossed an overhead to Andreas in the End Zone and that put us ahead 8:7. 5th Place out of 12. The rest is just cheese, wine, and olives!
