Tune Out Tour 2004
13. April-20. May 2004
Introduction
For more than 5 Weeks I was underway with my bicycle through Europe. Without any feul except food, I rode from Dresden to the Mediterrainian Sea! For the first 4 weeks I was with my roomate and friend from frisbee Matthias. Together, we rode through the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and France to visit his sister and her family in Lyon. Our next planned stop was Kaiserslautern for a Frisbee Tournament. After that we parted ways. Matthias rode on to Northern Germany for a wedding before heading back to Dresden. I rode (partially with trains) to Altenburg where I flew (entirely with planes) to Ireland to visit Jenny. After a bit of visiting and riding around the area, I flew back to Altenburg and rode my cycle back to Dresden. Altogether I rode 3502 km with my bike, which is well over 2000 miles. Here you can read about the individual stages of our tour and see statistics, maps and beautiful pictures.
